The fragrance of “Tathagata Tsal – Beyond all comings and goings”

The entrancing beauty of the “Tathagata Tsal” makes me feel more alive. Turning the prayer wheels outside the Buddha Park has given me a feeling of rediscovering my own values, faith and restored the faith in the meaning of the word Tathagata-beyond all comings and goings in life.

In the freezing winter of January when the temperature is nearly 5 degree C, the heavenly view of 130-foot high statue of unalloyed Goutam Buddha in the lap of Mountain is too enchanting to wipe out from my memory.

It is one of the finest, pleasant and cleanest places I have ever visited in south Sikkim. The architecture of the monastery is so unique and full of peacefulness and soulfulness, the tour inside the monastery from ground level to extreme upper level has disconnected me from whole eternity and hooked me with history of Buddhism. One can be regained by the sound of chanting inside a silent monastery. One should really visit it once in a lifetime; I am waiting to visit it again.
